The bloggosphere has begun to disappoint. Blogger has this great little toolbar function for the thought weary that just lets you select 'next blog'. Hordes of Oriental teenagers have discovered scripting and feel compelled to introduce you to their site with a message box, they then use framesets and ommit the blogger toolbar from their site. The other kind of vermin are those who use Blogger just for indexing their business sites, for example blogs that just post the same thing every day, and all it says is low-rent-asshole San Francisco with a link to their gay porn site.

2005 just got off to a bad start and I think I may need to change the name of my blog to Young Fogey.

I start the new job on Teusday and I'm looking forward to it. Leaving Unilever on Friday was a little odd. I bought tickets to South Africa for the end of February so there's something to look forward to. It's been well over 2 years since I had the I'm-on-holiday-so-fuck-off feeling. Ulrika will be joining me.
